Model Making
Craft Mondays at on my Theatre Design course at NTU has taken to Modeling!!
Learnt the basics of solding first. We started off making a small box (which one would think would be simple however, trying to get all the right angles can be a pain). However, as you can see below once a friend and I got the hang of it we went a bit crazy, love the end result though! I cant wait to put this technique to work in one of models soon.
Next was getting use to using scale. This is the very basics of model making for theatre design. Below you can see a small window and cube not to scale, a stall 1:10 scale and another stall and flat 4x8 at 1:25 scale (the scale mainly used in theatre design models).
